Which coins can I mine?

Pearl (PRL) and QTC are currently selectable; choices depend on the client catalog and GPU compatibility.

How do I mine QTC (Quantus)?

Download Vminer, pick QTC as the coin, paste your own Quantus wallet address (it starts with qz), choose Kryptex or LuckyPool and press Start. The client matches the mining engine to your GPU: PeakMiner or SRBMiner on NVIDIA, SRBMiner on AMD. QTC uses the quantus (Poseidon2) post-quantum hash; measured QTC hashrate per GPU model is in the QTC part of the GPU hashrate table on the homepage.

How much hashrate will my GPU do?

Medians measured on real rigs currently mining (not vendor claims): RTX 5090 about 375 TH/s (community-reported, full power), RTX 5080 about 235 TH/s, RTX 4080 about 221 TH/s, RTX 5070 Ti about 186 TH/s, RTX 4070 about 126 TH/s, RTX 3080 about 118 TH/s, RTX 3070 about 88 TH/s. The full table (55 models with measured power, hashrate per watt and sample size) is in the GPU hashrate section on the homepage, refreshed hourly.

Which GPU mines Pearl (PRL) best per watt?

Look at hashrate per watt, not just hashrate. Measured on our fleet: an RTX 5080 does 235 TH/s at 324 W while an RTX 3080 does 118 TH/s at 246 W — same power bill, 2.0 times the work. Overall the 50-series is about 1.6 times more efficient than the 30-series (median 727 vs 447 GH/W). Most efficient three: RTX 5070 Ti 926, 5080 922, RTX 4080 905 GH/W.

Can a laptop GPU mine?

Yes, and they are often more efficient per watt than desktop cards because their power limits are lower. Measured: RTX 3070 Laptop 528 GH/W vs 446 for the desktop 3070; RTX 3060 Laptop 559 GH/W vs 325 for the desktop 3060. Absolute hashrate is still higher on desktop cards. We have measured 12 laptop GPU models; the fastest is the RTX 5080 Laptop at 137 TH/s. Watch cooling under sustained load; Vminer can set a power limit and fan curve.

What hardware do I need?

Use Windows 10 / 11 64-bit and a supported discrete GPU. Available NVIDIA / AMD pools and mining software follow the client’s current compatibility filter.

Could antivirus flag it?

This kind of compute software is sometimes flagged by antivirus heuristics. Vminer is a clean native build; if it gets blocked, add it to the trust list. Always download from one of the two official mirrors on this site (vminers.com) — avoid third-party re-uploads.

Will games lag for customers?

yields according to the GPU load, foreground application and optional mouse / keyboard rules in Netbar settings. Mining resumes once the idle and resume conditions are met; the configured settings determine the details. Set power, fans and overclocking on the OC page. Only when Enable OC is on does Netbar yielding restore the managed settings to defaults and mining resume reapply your OC settings. With OC off, Vminer does not change these GPU settings.

How does Fleet Control work?

Sign in to your account in the Vminer client and that machine joins your fleet. Then open app.vminers.com on a phone, tablet or computer to see every rig’s hashrate, temperature and power, and to start / stop, switch pool, kernel, coin or wallet, set power and fan, or reboot / shut down — for one rig or many at once.

Can I overclock?

Yes. The OC page covers power, fan, core clock, core offset, memory clock and memory offset: power as a percentage, fan at a fixed speed or auto, the rest in MHz; everything returns to defaults when mining stops or Vminer closes. You can also tune remotely from Fleet Control. Tuning is for NVIDIA cards; AMD cards show live status.

Which pools are supported?

Pearl (PRL) and QTC are currently selectable; choices depend on the client catalog and GPU compatibility.
