Diskless cafés & master image
Three steps#
Diskless cafes: set one machine up, copy the whole Vminer folder into the master image, and every PC starts with the same configuration.
Automatic updates are unavailable while Netbar Mode is enabled. Update the client version in the master disk image manually; alternatively, find the master disk's fixed worker name in the fleet console and click Manual update.
Worker names#
- Use a fixed prefix + random suffix so every seat has its own name at the pool.
- Only English letters, digits and - — no Chinese or other symbols, or the pool rejects them.
Fleet Control#
Sign in to Fleet Control once on the master: every cloned seat is signed in too, and each shows up as its own rig — they don't replace each other.
LAN coordination and file checks run automatically, but transferring a file does not trigger an upgrade; Netbar clients still do not update automatically. See Fleet Control for staged predownloads and installing together or as each download finishes.
